Speaktron virtual synthesizer controlled by the movement of the mouth

On the occasion of Music London Hack Day 2010, an entire weekend hacking dedicsto music and content sharing hardware and software that was held nela British capital last September, the designer presented the Speaktron Mark Bereza, a software synthesizer with an innovative control system.

The Speaktron is controlled and played through the mouth of the musician. This softsynth using a webcam to your computer tederminare if the mouth is open or closed, the width of the position of the lips and mouth to the screen, transforming this information into parameters for the creation of sounds.

The Speaktron is available for free download at the same Bereza, which makes available the source code if you want to integrate this software with others, or to extend the functions of the same.
