Two new Casio synthesizers - XW-G1 / XW-P1

Casio Computer Company has announced two new synthesizers, taking up an old tradition of innovation in the field of synthesis. Groove XW-G1 is a synthesizer that combines the functions used by DJs, and XW-P1 is a true synthesizer for live performance.

Featuring a slim body and weighs only 5.4 kilograms, both models are equipped with four assignable knobs and nine sliders independent, making it intuitive and easy to control a wide range of sounds.

XW-G1 Groove Synthesizer:


Step Sequencer with 100 unique rhythm patterns.
Set of 16 buttons when playing rhythm patterns.
99 patterns can be linked in sequence and played as a loop using the Chains.
Phrase Sequencer with 100 preset musical phrases.
Up to 100 musical phrases can be stored as user phrase.
420 preset sounds including PCM Synthesizer and only accessible from the keyboard.
Arpeggio function.
Looper any samples (allows overdubbing).
Performed on the synthesizer sounds as well as incoming sounds can be sampled and played back in Loop up to 19 seconds, allowing you to overdub.
Sampled sounds can be saved as user tones played on the keyboard.
Various input and output terminals for connecting audio and MIDI.
MIDI devices or portable audio equipment can be placed in the rubber room.

XW-P1 Performance Synthesizer:


100 preset synthesizer capable of reproducing the sounds of vintage analog synthesizers.
Layer up to 50 presets Hex six tones stratified ensemble sounds.
50 preset Drawbar Organ able to reproduce the traditional Hammond organ sounds.
420 preset PCM and PCM Melody Drum samples obtained from various sounds of instruments including pianos, guitars and drums.
