Hercules DJ Control AIR includes innovations that make the mixing more engaging, intuitive and spectacular - you're an amateur or a beginner DJ:

The mix is in the air
AIR stands for "by InfraRed Adjustment": it is a totally new controller in the field of computer mixing console.
A near infrared sensor, integrated into the unit, allowing DJs to choose between the different functions (the level of a volume, an effect ...) without having to touch the controller, simply by moving the open hand above the sensor . It is as if there was magic in the air, during each performance in front of the dance floor!
The air control works irrespective of the lighting environment, allowing users to adjust the various parameters of the software in a fast and intuitive.
Scratch and creates the mood
Thanks to its two pressure-sensitive jog wheel, AIR DJ Control is perfect for scratching. The jog wheel, each with a diameter of 10 cm, the pressure detected by the user's hand. In this way, the feeling during scratching are natural, as if you used a CD player or turntable vinyl - ideal for learning and perfecting the techniques of scratching, just as with the professional DJ devices.
The jog wheel also allow you to easily control the function of pitch and navigate within the playlist.

For users who seek to control the sound with a few gestures, like the most famous DJ, Hercules has included 2 sets of 4 pads progressive. These pads send a command and its speed, to control loops, samples and effects. For example, to play an effect, you will not have to do is tap your finger on a pad: once touched, the pad will light and will not transmit only the On / Off control, but also a progressive type command. In this way, the user can easily vary the attack sample or its volume, or modulate the amplitude of an effect.

A VU meter for displaying the beat
DJ Control AIR includes a VU meter for displaying the beat, made up of 2 lines of 4 LEDs. In this way, the DJ can stay focused on the dance floor: if the LED light up both tracks in unison, it means that the 2 tracks are synchronized with each other - and this, of course, is the basis of all the mixes .
