Novation introduces Twitch, the new DJ controllers 'TouchStrip' developed in close collaboration with Serato. Twitch along with the controller comes Serato ITCH software, which is able to adapt automatically to the tempo track to achieve creative DJ sets, the special controls of TouchStrip Twitch let you do amazing things with the new performance tools ITCH, but Twitch can also be mapped to other MIDI DJ software such as Traktor or Ableton Live. Twitch opens new perspectives for DJs. The control surface of Twitch, with two banks of eight Triggerpads, professional and a crossfader Fader FX for each channel, offers a new range of possibilities for the new generation of DJs and musicians digital. Both LED backlit TouchStrip allow you to manipulate the tracks using gestures, such as a multi-touch trackpad or a touchscreen to navigate, play and improvise with the songs.
The four modes of Twitch (Hot Cues, Slicer, Auto Loop and Loop Roll) integrate seamlessly with ITCH and allow you to cut and mix the songs on the fly. The Hot Cues mode lets you jump directly to the various markers in the track and re-trigger up to 8 hits, just like a sampler. The Slicer is a brand new mode that allows you to rearrange the tracks while they're playing, using a user interface similar to that of a step-sequencer. You can divide the beats and rearrange them at will in different grooves in real time, without having to be assigned to the pads. The Auto Loop and Loop Roll Twitch allow you to manipulate the tracks in even more depth and, with the help of TouchStrip, you can change the length of the loop in the mix for glitch effects - all while maintaining the perfect time. To further expand the creative possibilities, the effects can be assigned to the faders of channels by simply pressing a button, this way you can achieve dramatic effects using the faders and knobs in the master section.
Twitch is designed for live and is solid and compact, is powered via USB: just connect the USB cable and audio cables and you're ready to play. Integrates high-quality audio interface with 2 inputs and 4 outputs. The balanced outputs can be connected directly to the main PA system or system at home, and provide excellent sound quality. Twitch also has a channel Mic / Aux inputs with mono or stereo RCA jacks so you can mix the vocalist or MC with additional audio sources, such as an MP3 player, the signal passes over the effects and release it from the master output.
